I am working through the Beginner Running program but my program is indicating that I have completed zero workouts when I have done two.

Hello @lanabella, welcome to the Community Forums!
The information that was shared in your post is appreciated. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using to check the Fitbit app? When was the first time you experienced this and does this occur everyday you try to see your progress? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:
Keep me posted.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy. I think it is an S7 Edge. Will try the approach you advised.

Unfortunately I am still having the same problem. Would it help if I hit the refresh button in my program, or will that erase my progress?

Today it did track my workout. Not sure why. If I hit the refresh button when viewing other days' instructions, will I get retroactive credit for those workouts?

Thanks for your replies @lanabella, it's a pleasure to continue assisting you today.
I appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting your device with the information that was shared on my previous post. To better assist you with this, can you please send me a screenshot of the previous days in which the device didn't recorded the workouts? Please refer to this post for instructions of how to attach an image into your post.
Looking forward to your reply.

I am in week 2 of the running program and not one run or exercise was recorded , though i did get the workouts recorded for week one.
I cannot proceed to week 3.
In my Number of days exercised, the session is recorded as completed and gives relevant data, but in the run training program it displays as 0 workouts

I am having an issue too. I only started this program today. The suggested workout this morning was the medium power walking intervals. I didn't fancy it as I did it yesterday and it was pouring with rain this morning. It said if I didn't want to this workout if I spent 15 minutes doing activity that got me in the fat burn zone it would automatically track it. I did that but it hasn't tracked it

I have the same problem with the regular running program. It occasionally tracks it and records it, but it usually doesn't. It tracked it for me on Wednesday but not today.

So today the beginner running advised on the fartlek workout, which i did, going through the beginner running button on the dashoard. It wasn't logged by my fitbit, but it did log an aerobic workout of about the same duration. But the beginner running hasn't registered it at all.
This is ridiculous. I'm quitting the program. If it can't even track exercise that it suggests that you do, let alone another workout that qualifies, what is the point? There are clearly serious issues with this program!

so I've woken up today and the fartlek workout from yesterday is now counted on both the activity tracker and the beginner running? What on earth is going on??? I think i will still be quitting the program- it's far too unpredictable.

I'm having this exact problem. Can't progress to week 2 of the beginner running program because it's not tracking my workouts done on coach. So frustrating! Has anyone resolved this issue?

I have found that when I exercise before my reminder for exercising, it does not count, but when I workout after the reminder, it counts it. I think that might solve your problem, but all I know is that it works for me.

Has there been an update for this issue?
Doesn't really bother me that the workouts don't track but if I could at least add them manually so I can move to the next week it would be great.

Those steps did not work for me, however, I did find out that for the exercises, you had to perform them after your reminder went off. That is the only time it ever tracked it for me. After I started exercising after the reminder, I did not have a problem with it at all, other than having to exercise at around 7-8 am after everyone in my family gets up.

Hey, so I’m on week three of the beginner running and it wouldn’t record all of my workouts either. It recorded 2, when I actually did every single one. Only one of the 2 actually counted toward the 3 workout goal, so note it’s treating me like I failed it.
I’ve contacted support 3 times about it and did all the troubleshooting suggested and it still wouldn’t get back my progress, so it’s having me repeat the week. The fact that this is still an issue looking at when this was first posted is ridiculous!!! I’m just glad I’ve got the 90 day trial, I would never pay $9.99 a month for something that doesn’t work properly!

I'm on week 2 of the beginner running program and having exactly the same issue. The program shows all my workouts for week 1, but on week 2, it has tracked 0 out of 2 workouts I've done so far. Maybe it's because I'm exercising before the time that I've set the reminder for, as @ChillerKern has suggested? Are we supposed to exercise only after we get the reminder?? If so, is there any way that I can change the time for the reminder?
All of the workouts are recorded in the Number of days exercised, and also in the Fitbit Coach app, by the way.
Has the problem been solved for everyone else here (as it has already been 10 months since the first post)?

Yes, it was resolved for me by setting the reminder notification to early in the morning. I only clicked on the notification when I was ready to progress straight to the workout. Only then would it show up on the app as completed. However, since commenting on this post I've got a new Samsung S20 and I don't need to do this.
