Here's a question for the crowd, especially if you have used various Google devices with your Fitbit. Which Google device works most successfully with Fitbit? Looking for the device to wear on my wrist that results in the least glitches. Anyone have insight?

Hello @FitCharlotte
I use the Pixel Watch and really like the Fitbit integration, when it works well. I started with the Pixel Watch 2 and transitioned to the Pixel Watch 3 last year. I'll likely move to the Pixel Watch 4 when it's released later this year.
I like that the Pixel Watch faces have customizable "complication" areas on the display that you can set up for tracking Fitbit data. I have Steps, Heart Rate, Cardio Load, & AZM on my display. It's nice to be able to look at my watch and see my Fitbit data at a glance. Another feature that I like is that each complication on the display is a short-cut to the app. I can tap Steps on the clock face and it will open the Fitbit Today (Pixel Watch Fitbit app) Steps tile. This shortcut feature works for any complication, not just Fitbit.
Steps tracking is always tricky with a wrist worn tracker since the device typically uses arm movement for steps. Personally, I've seen improvement with how the Pixel Watch tracks steps. It's been less laggy for me. But, that's my own experience.
Rumor mill from tech sites that share product leaks seem to indicate that the Fitbit integration on Pixel Watches will continue to improve. I'm looking forward to see how this translates for the Pixel Watch 4.

Update: Just want to share that I saw JenMah 's post about the step count issue she experienced. In her post, she mentioned that she has the original Pixel Watch. Although I had some issues with step tracking in the past, my experience is that this feature has seen improvement with the Pixel Watch 2 & 3.

Hi, @FitCharlotte, welcome. It looks like few can offer a comparison between Android or Google devices, likely because not many people have a fistful of phones or tablets to compare. I've used a few phones, but comparison is not valid as I only use one at a time & the older phones were from a less sophisticated generation. I addition, the Fitbit app has seen many updates before & after Google acquired Fitbit. You may find this article of interest Fitbit setup requirements - Help. I hope this is helpful.

Don't get the Pixel Watch. I love the watch, but it works TERRIBLY with Fitbit. It is completely inaccurate. If you want your steps counted, look elsewhere. I don't know where.

Hi @FitCharlotte - most Fitbit devices work reasonably well and have better battery life than a Pixel watch.
The weak link is the Fitbit App which Google keep changing and introducing errors or it's actual usability and isn't something you can always rely on.
In addition the changes may also be made on the Fitbit servers which can be another cause of instabilities.

@Guy_ I have used various versions of the Charge tracker for many years and hope to continue, but uncertain about how long Google will keep it around. Therefore, the reason for my question to consider what the next best option might be or if there is a better choice. Thanks for your comment.
