Bike ride /step info

Good evening. I've had the Charge 4 for 2 weeks now. This morning I rode my bike 15.8 miles. When I got home, Fitbit recorded the miles and knew I was on a bike ride but why would it say I walked 4.85 miles and climbed 45 floors and walked over 10k steps? I have probably only walked 2 miles today. Also before I even got out of bed this morning it showed that I had taken 77 steps.

Thanks for your help

@BKMDANO It's because Fitbit still recognizes steps while you ride (simply - Fitbit is designed to never stop recording steps) and while you riding you will get bogus steps which are a result of a bumpy/shaky ride (steps are detected from wrist motion and even while sleeping it's possible to misrecognize some steps). The same goes for the floors. It's been a design decision since the very beginning to always recognize steps regardless of the activity or state the user is in.
