Blaze won't hold a charge or show heartrate

My Blaze will not hold a charge for more than 2 hrs.  Also it is not registering a heartrate.  It has been working beautifully until about a week ago.  I have reached out to customer support and they indicated that the issue was due to compatibility problems with Samsung S8, but I  have had the phone and Blaze combo for over a year.  Super frustrated right now as I need to charge my Fitbit device every 2 hours.. Anyone else have this issue?

Welcome to the Forums @1Hamby.

Thanks for bringing this up and letting us know that you have contacted our support team.

The charging situation is not related to the phone that you are using. In case you haven't, I'd recommend that you try to follow the steps in this article. They should help in getting your Blaze to charge again.

As for the HR. Is it showing in your Fitbit or not even on your Fitbit's screen? If it isn't even showing on your Blaze, I'd recommend that you try following checking these tips.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for your reply.  I have tried the tips from the articles you provided. My Blaze slowly got better at holding a charge last week. It went from needing to be charged after 2 hours to holding a charge for about 12 hours.  Then after a week, it went back to not holding a charge for much more than 2 hours.  My heart rate is not registering consistently on my device.  I have not had any sleep data (basic or otherwise) since Sept. 2. Not sure what to do at this point.
