In February Fitbit announced a new feature for glucose tracking, to be rolled out in February 2021. As with most Dexcom G6 CGM users I do not do regular, multiple times a day finger pricks. I have a Tandem pump talking to the T-Connect app on my phone. Since T-Connect is already capturing the glucose data I'd like to see it copied into Fitbit.
I want to tie my already collected steps, heartrate, sleep and diet (taken from MyFitnessPal) to my glucose levels. All of the above affect my glucose.
Will Fitbit be enhancing the glucose part of the Fitbit app to talk to either Tandem's T-Connect app (which records my glucose level like Fitbit records steps) or to a free app like XDrip that also collects from the CGM and already talks to the Fitbit app (so I can see my glucose on my Versa 2)? Or even better, will Fitbit be enhancing the app to talk directly to the Dexcom (and maybe Medtronic) CGM transmitter?

@ScottYanke Hi there.
Your feedback is appreciated, we're always striving to improve our services offered. I see how important would be for you to have this integration, at the moment, I don't have news about it. However, be sure to check the Fitbit Press Releases, new features or trackers are posted there.
Also, I noticed this idea Dexcom app Integration was posted in our Feature Suggestion board, those are reviewed by our team and the status will change depending on Fitbit plans. Please vote for it, to show your support.
Have a good weekend.
