Hello there @UROen, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community!
As you know know the tracker will require the Fitbit app in order to sync, since your Alta wouldn't work as a regular Bluetooth device in case you are trying to connect your tracker for the first time.
In case you tracker is failing to sync with the Fitbit app, perhaps the following suggestion might be of your help: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).
Keep in mind this mobile phone is not listed in our Compatible Device List, so in these scenarios the app may not work as is expected. For more details please take a look at this post.
See you later and stay tuned if you have more questions.

Hi @UROen
You should give your fitbit back and buy one from a brand that actually works! Fitbit stopped supporting Android smartphones in 2016

Hi there @UROen, nice to see you around, my apologies for the late response. I'm afraid at the moment we do not have further details of a time frame when a devices is going to be listed among the compatible devices.
You can join to the following suggestion to support this request: Huawei P10 Compatibility
If there are more news I will keep you updated.
