"New Debit Charge" is your title? I really do not understand the issue. Having said that, you can never pair a Fitbit tracker through the Bluetooth settings on a phone. If you have a tracker that includes notifications you can pair through the app by enabling them in the app.

@Mandy42As @SunsetRunnermentioned, you should not be attempting to pair your Fitbit tracker via the Bluetooth setting on your phone as you may typically set up another Bluetooth device. For Fitbit trackers, I suggest using the detailed instructions here, which direct you to pair via the Fitbit App instead of the phone's Bluetooth settings page. Hope this helps to get you back on track!

So frustrated.  Trying to sync my fitbit charge and it isn't even showing up in my bluetooth devices.  I've restarted my phone, turned off the bluetooth, disconnected the fitbit from my account, and deleted the app.  It still doesn't show up. Please help

I'm having the same issues with my fitbit alta hr - tried 'forgetting' it from bluetooth devices, now it doesn't even register on available bluetooth devices. Tracker not found; I've had it for several months, and there have been some syncing problems, but nothing like this. Please help.

Your reply is for someone who is initially pairing it.  I have the same problem. Using Fitbit with my phone for 2 weeks, no problems. all of a sudden it no longer syncs. I go to bluetooth settings and forget fitbit.  Try to re pair it but it won't.  close out window to start over, now bluetooth does not even locate device anymore.  I had previously done this 2days ago and was able to repair and sync normally. Now the device no longer shows up.

I've always been able to pair my fitbit with my phone through the phone's Bluetooth settings. I can only pair it through the app if I want to st up a new device. I imagined my phone and Charge 2 because it was malfunctioning. Now all I get is a message that says there are no bluetooth devices in the vicinity. How do I make my Charge 2 visible to my phone?

I have the issue all the time and what works for me is to put FITBIt in charging mode and press the power button for several seconds to restart

I have had my Alta HR for a couple of years I would sync it about every week or so and then on April 24 it stopped showing up as an option that my Bluetooth was connected to. Now I can not find it at all. I have tried all the recommendations on every help screen or blog - start, restart, etc. now I have deleted the device off my account and am trying to reload it and of course it won’t because the Bluetooth can’t find it so I have now lost years worth of data and over 100 pounds of weight loss.  Well Great. And looking at the other responses it doesn’t look like there is anything that can be done to fix it. Is that correct???  Is the only choice to buy a new Fitbit???

Try going to "Notifications" under Account -> Alta in the Fitbit app.
It may prompt the phone and Fitbit to pair.

Wow. Out of everything I was doing. This worked.

That's kind of annoying, since the message says, go to the blue tooth setting on your phone...

How bizarre.  It worked on my Charge2!  But my fitbit still won't sync -- which was my original problem anyway....
