Bluetooth keeps switching on and off

Hi, the Bluetooth keeps switching on and off on my Android devices. It was never normally a problem, but recently the Fitbit app seems to initiate repeated on/off activation of the Bluetooth service. If I delete the Fitbit app the Bluetooth becomes stable. I'm not sure if there has been a recent upgrade of the app, but it's impacting more than one Android device.....so appears not to be localised. The commonality I suppose is the altaHR watch, but not sure how it would do this. Any suggested help appreciated as I'm dependant on the dashboard for progress 😥

Hello and welcome to the forums @Spud_Monster

Which system of Android are you using? I'm on 5.0.1 and haven't had any problems.

Have you tried logging in and out of the app instead of deleting the app?

What other android based devices are you using?

The more we know, the better to help you.

Also, if you haven't already, do a restart of your device.

Hi thanks for responding. The Android device is on 4.4.2 a Lenovo Tablet. The 2nd Android device is a Samsung SMT2 10 tablet, also on 4.4.2. I have closed app multiple times but seems to still affect the Bluetooth service. I have not reset the watch yet.

@Spud_Monster  try restarting it a few times. It usually helps when there is a glitch.

Let us know how that works, then we'll go from there. Always a good group here to help out.
