Welcome to the Forums @LeslieBergh.

Thanks for trying to troubleshoot on your own before posting in here.

In this case I'd like to ask you to confirm if you have followed the specific steps listed in this help article. In addition please let me know if you have tried to pair your Charge 2 with any other device or if it was paired with another phone prior to trying it with the A6+.

Look forward to your reply.

Yes, I have followed the specific steps listed in the help article.

My Charge 2 was, unknown to me until a few minutes ago, paired with my
wife's Galaxy S8. I have now unpaired it on her S8 phone and tried again to
pair it on my A6+ phone, but it still won't pair.

Hello @LeslieBergh.

Thanks for sharing those details on the matter and trying the steps I recommended.

Let's try the following:

  1. Go to your wife's phone.
  2. Access the Bluetooth settings on the phone.
  3. There look for your Fitbit on the list of paired devices.
  4. Remove it from that list.
  5. Do the same on your A6.
  6. Restart both phones.
  7. Run the set up process again through your phone.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
