Bug Charge 2: recording walk changes into run

I have the fitbit Charge 2. When I want to record an activity via the fitbit app on my android phone (pixel 2) I can change the activity as being a run, walk or hike. I have selected the option walk now twice that in the end it recorded it as a run instead. I can't change it later because it was a manual recorded activity. Seems to be a bug?

You're right, it is a bug with the android app. Fitbit are looking into it. Keep an eye on the following thread where they have been making updates on progress:
