Bug in Fitbit (Android App) 4.001

I am not a fan of the new app.  The user interface is poor; the old app was better.

More importantly, there is a bug that quietly occurs when manually adding an exercise.   My device and app are set for miles/pounds.   If I manually add a walk, it prompts me for distance in miles, so I enter 1.57, hit save, and it all looks good.   But if I go all the way back to the menu and bring up the activity again, the app has improperly assumed the input was in kilometers, because it erroneously "converts" 1.57 to 0.98, which just happens to be the conversion from km to miles.   Problem is the app is set to miles, the input is in miles, the display is in miles, so there should be no "conversion", just store the number and let it go at that.  The whole point of using a tracker is to get accurate information.  I should not have to debug the app for you; this is basic basic basic stuff.

Please revert to the old version; it worked.

Another bug:  You can't manually enter a distance for a Treadmill activity.  It used to work.
