Hello I have a fit bit alta . My phone is a Samsung edge 7. When someone calls comes up un known even if they are stored in my phones phone book how do I change this?

You need to give FitBit premission to access your phones contacts. Go to applications under settings. Click on FitBit.. from there you should see notification options. Enable Contacts. Once you do that restart your phone and feel free to do a test call; it'll work from there.
