Hi @julesa318. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for letting me know about the notifications issues. There are a few factors that may affect how the notifications go through your Fitbit, such as having multiple Bluetooth connections turned on are nearby or not allowing the Fitbit app to run on the background. That said, please try the following steps:
- Remove your Fitbit from the Bluetooth settings.
- On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear cache.
- Go back one screen, tap on force stop and reboot your phone.
- Restart your Fitbit.
- If applicable, make sure your Fitbit has the notifications turned on.
- Open the Fitbit app and set up the notifications one more time.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Hi, I've tried your suggestions. I am still not able to get call/text notifications on my fitbit. I have a galaxy s9. My fitbit is a AltaHR.

Hi @julesa318. It's good to see you here again and I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for trying the steps posted above to get the notifications working again. You did a good job and let me continue helping you. Your Samsung Galaxy S9 is a compatible device so it should be working well. Since that's not the case, please give one last try to the following steps:
- Remove your Alta HR one more time from the Bluetooth settings.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
- Reboot your phone one more time.
- Set up your tracker as a new device.
- Set up the notifications and monitor your tracker's behavior.
Keep me posted.

I tried the last suggestion you said. It didn't work. I'm not sure why the suggestions aren't working

Would I need to be a certain amount of distance away from my phone for text/phone calls to show on my fitbit alta hr?

Hi @julesa318. It's good to see you here and I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for replying back and confirming that you've tried the steps posted above. I'm sorry that the notifications are still not working and let's continue working on this together. About your question, your Alta HR should be within 20 feet from your phone. Recently our team released a new update for the Fitbit app, so please make sure it's downloaded and try setting up the notifications one more time.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi, I did try the suggestions again to get phone calls and text notifications on my altaHr. I did get it to work. It doesn't seem to be working again.
