Hello,
After the second most recent update to the Fitbit app the calories in versus out bar graph does not display correctly. The month view only will go back 5 weeks and then shows nothing and the day view will only go back approximately a month (only to November 11th as of today).
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it did not solve the issue.
I tried scrolling to load all of the previous weeks on the main food logging page to make sure they would all be loaded as in the past that has been sometimes an issue. It did not solve the problem
I was hoping the most recent update would fix this problem. It has not.
I've been logging my calories daily for almost a year and it is frustrating to no longer be able to see the weekly bar graph in month view for more than 5 weeks into the past. When I first noticed this occurring around October 6th.
This occurs both on my Samsung S9 and my Samsung Tab A.
Thank you

@micheledelhuman Nice to see you again in the forums. I appreciate the explanation and the details. I just tried checking historic data on my Fitbit app as well and it only let me check data from up to a month ago. I tried the weekly and the monthly view. The last week I could check was the one from November 4th - 10th. On a monthly view I was able to load data from October; however, not more. I tried checking this information on the Fitbit.com Website. The data is actually still stored on the account.
However, it seems that the app has now limited amount of data that it can load. You can still check your historic food log in the Fitbit.com Website (click here). Have a nice day!

I understand that the food calorie data is still there and I can see it. But I cannot see the bar graph showing my calories in versus calories out past 5 weeks back. This is obviously a bug that recently happened after a update. When are they planning to fix this? This is a major issue that prevents users from seeing if they are eating within their calorie expenditure for the day and/or week. I would argue the week is more important because oftentimes one eats over their calories for the day but can compensate for it on another day.
Also if one is not losing weight by being able to go back to compare week over week calories in versus calories out will allow that to see if they are eating over their expenditure on a greater timeline.
There's really no reason for them not to be showing the bar graph of the data past the five week mark as this obviously was shown in the past.
Thank you,
Michelle

Hello,
I understand that I can see the food that I have logged historically but I can no longer see, either on the desktop site or the app, any sort of calories in versus calories out comparison in either day or week view past that month. This is one of the primary features that I use and I do not understand why this very simple bar graph was truncated to only allow for a month's worth of data to be visualized. Unfortunately, sometimes I do not eat well for the week but I do try to make it up the next week. Removing this important calories in/calorie out bar graph (especially week view) no longer allows me to keep track of this.
Also, the fact that it loads days but not the data in the bar graph makes me believe this to be a bug/error.
Thank you,
Michelle
