Calories in tracker get stuck after run logged

This has been happening for months now, just wondered if anyone has the same experience. I have a Google Pixel watch and a Google phone. I've used FitBit since started my weight loss/fitness journey in January.

Every run I log using my watch seems to halt the calories burned on the food tracker. I have to uninstall the app and reinstall to correct the previous day's bar on the calorie chart. It sounds like a nothing issue, however, it's frustrating because at a glance using the weekly calorie average, if forget to correct a day, the calories are incorrect and it's frustrating.

Tried the following - clearing cache, manually syncing, uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting both phone and watch, syncing during the activity and force stopping the app.
