I'm not even going to get into why I hate the new dashboard but I do have an issue that I'd like help on.

So this first picture is of the tile on my Main Dashboard. It shows that I have 942 calories left.

Then when you click on that tile, it says I have 512 calories left.

Why the discrepancy? Which one am I supposed to follow?

the figure when you click ON the tile, and enter your food - that now shows the difference between food in and cals out, RATHER than the estimated cals, as it used to.  And no, I don't like it either.

I would go by the figure you see on the main tile, although I have noticed this is VERY slow to update since the previous android update.  I used to get a better idea when you clicked into the tile and it showed the estimate, as that figure did update - but now it's messed up.

I've emailed customer service about it too.

Yes I contacted Fitbit through Chat this morning and they confirmed that the cals left listed under my cals in on the main tile is just an estimation based on my previous burns and taken into consideration my deficit.

When you click on that tile, the calories left listed there is your actual real-time budget based on your current cals out or calories burned.

I'm still unsure of which one to use. The one on my main tile is always a larger number because of the estimation and I don't want to accidentally overeat when I'm not as active at night as Fitbit thinks I will be.

I wish they would just give us our old dashboard back. =(

I got a reply this morning saying "Our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible." so it looks like a known issue. Might not be corrected until the next android update though 😏

They told me the same thing on 5/23/17. Hope they hurry up!
