Calories not shown on main screen

ANSWERED
  • I can record what I eat for the day but it won't show how many calories I have left for the day on the main screen. It still shows I haven't consumed any calories. It started doing this yesterday. I had a update yesterday for the app and since then this function is not working. What can I do to fix this or is this an update fault.

Yes, that's right. Thanks!

I'm having this same issue. Any information on how to remedy this.

I have the same problem with a Pixel Watch 3, so I'm assuming it's an app issue.

Same issue.  I'm starting to wonder if they even have a QA department?

I've also noticed that when you view nutritional content of a logged food it has the old error that was fixed where you can only see the very bottom of the info.  You can't scroll up to see the get fat content, you just see the protein and sodium at the bottom.

They caused this issue then fixed it after several months of complaints and now it's back. Lol.

I'm so glad I canceled my premium subscription.  They are not worth supporting when they do stuff like this over and over and won't even let you stream the content to your TV form the phone.  Ridiculous stuff.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail.

Sadly, my subscription renewed earlier today.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Well you can cancel it today.  You still have access for the month you paid for.  If it's fixed before next month I'll eat my hat and you can resubscribe.

J ai le même problème ,si on clic sur la rubrique tout est inscrit à l intérieur , mais le total n apparaît en prémière page

If it's anything like last time they might fix it in a few months.  I guess this is more important than being able to see nutrition content of logged food since it's on the front page.  Maybe they will fix it sooner who knows.

Same problem. Noticed they released an update on Aug 4, 2025, & since the update the calorie count does NOT show up on the main screen. Please leave the app alone; if it's not broke, don't fix it!

Using a Pixel 3a, with the latest Android version made for it: Android version 12. The Fitbit update of Aug. 4, 2025, has resulted in data failing to display on the Food tile on the main screen. Very disappointing!

I'm having the same problem

Very annoying for the app to fail to work properly when it was previously.
Google needs to leave it alone, quit trying to improve something that's not
broken.
Sorry you're having the same problem.

Thank you.  I'm having the same issue. Hope it gets resolved.

Yes! Hope it's resolved soon! 👍

Same! I noticed over the last few days, it was telling me I was well OVER budget when I hadn't even eaten or logged anything yet as well. Today, the main screen doesn't show calories or nutrition/Food, however, when I click on the calories at the top, it does show what I ate and what I have left as of that moment. i wish the Nutrition part on the main page would update as well because I look at that to see what I'm allowed TOTAL.

I'll wish in one hand and **ahem** in the other and see which fills up first lol.  This isn't the first time this has happened.

This is exactly what several of us are experiencing. An update was released
Aug 4; as of Aug 5 & 6, this part of the app is not working properly.
Bummer. It wasn't broke before they "fixed" it.

Welcome to the ahem show.  Guess you didn't have an issue when they did a similar thing 6 months ago?

They won't stop adding in new **ahem** no one wants until nothing works so I guess the problem will resolve itself when no one uses their app anymore.

When they get this working I'm turning off the app updates and refusing to do one until I know it will actually fix something instead of adding useless features that just impact current users. Don't allow auto update is what I learned from this.
