I play a lot of volleyball during which I don't wear my Fitbit Charge 2 but a Polar H10 with a chest strap. So I am wondering what is a more accurate measure of my activity level. Will it be steps, calories or active minutes? Does burning more calories lead fitbit to calculate more number of steps. I don't think so because on days I play volleyball I sometimes burn upwards of 2k calories in a 3 hour session but my steps remain the same.
Also from what I understand, if I am working out in a gym with weights, I need to manually start recording the exercise. There is no auto recognition for weights. But does it automatically stop recording the workout once I have stopped lifting weights?

If it's manually started, you must be the one to stop the tracking as well.
