I keep getting notices to join my FitBit account to my Google account. However, when I click the link to do so it says "oops there was a problem. Please try again." But trying again just keeps getting the same error notice. I tried going to manage Renew but it says account locked. To proceed with Google, but the continue with Google button doesn't do anything but change color slightly. There's also a button for deleting fitbit history which says you can never join the Renew program again if info is deleted. Obviously I don't want to do that. Please advise. My fitbut app was just recently updated, maybe the update is the problem.

Hi, @N0ni I believe there are some teething problems with the changeover from original Fitbit accounts to Google accounts. If I were you I would continue to log in with my original Fitbit account and try the switch again in a few weeks when hopefully the issues will be ironed out.

Just to let you know, although you are currently getting prompts to migrate your Fitbit account to Google, it's not a requirement until 2025.
