Can't Connect Charge 2 to the App

I'm feeling pretty frustrated. My Charge 6 started misbehaving last Friday, which I posted about in the Fitbit Syncing Issues thread (https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Fitbit-Syncing-Issues/m-p/5775203#M190485). Then, a few hours ago, it stopped working. No green light, no vibrating - just dead. 

So I thought I'd whip out the old Charge 5 and try it even though it has a history of being flaky. Things were going okay until I saw the X inside a circle. Now it's dead too.

Then I decided to dust off the Charge 2, which has always been very reliable. I charged it up and now it's doing this:

Hello @casportpony 

Sorry to see all the troubles you're having with your Fitbit devices. 

What troubleshooting have you tried so far to get your Charge 2 to connect to the Fitbit app? Have you tried uninstalling, then re-installing the app?

  • Log out of the Fitbit app
  • Uninstall the app
  • Re-install the app
  • Log back into the app
