Ok - I just tried it on my PHONE [an android] and it allowed me to change it! I was trying on my laptop and it would NOT allow it.

I as well just tried to do the same on the website and same issue. Apparently fitbit doesn't feel its important enough issue to resolve as its been going on for quite some time. That or they don't understand how to do simple image processing. *shrug*.

I was finally able to change my photo. I no longer participate in any groups that think it's fun to change your profile picture to suite a challenge, because I don't feel that I will be able to change my picture back. I's a trust issue. I think the software is unpredictable.

How is this problem labeled "ANSWERED" and your specific response labeled the "Best Answer" since there is no solution provided? Moreover, your comment is wrong that "it's an Android issue." Yes, like all the other people I cannot can't upload a photo via mobile app on Samsung Galaxy 10 (Android v.11) but it also does not work via mobile app on iPad Mini 4 (iOS v.15.1). Nor does it work on PCs (Windows 10 Pro v.19043.1415) using Chrome (v. 86.0.4240.75) nor Firefox (v.95.0.2) nor Edge (v.97.0.1072.62) nor... how many more browsers do people have to tell Fitbit about before this problem is taken seriously as a problem? So, first, please tell you colleagues to REMOVE the label that this is "answered" because you yourself stated it is not, along with dozens of other people. Second, please tell you colleagues this is not an "Android issue" since this forum contains multiple instances of people telling you guys its a general problem affecting different platforms, and there are several other Fitbit Community forums reporting the same problems. Third, please have your colleagues go back and correct the several other forums on this same subject that say the issue is solved by pointing to a workaround that is not desired or actually doesn't work. For example, in other forums when people report that they can't upload a picture on their phone an "answer" is provided giving instructions on how to take a snapshot instead (a workaround that doesn't address the actual issue) or an "answer" is given to use a the web-based platform in a browser (something that doesn't always work, as evidenced by many of the posts in those and this forum. Thank you for not doing either of those things in your response here. The honesty of saying we don't know and are working on it is appreciated, but at the least you've gotta take that "ANSWERED" label off because it ain't.
