Can't comment in the Community Tab

Hello!

I can't comment on photos or add any post?

 

Updated application

Restarted mobile phone

Signed out / Signed in application

 

Any advice?

@SunsetRunner Thanks for clarifying what the issue is and for the imaged attached. 

First, please make sure that your Sony Experia 5 II meets the requirements listed here

Once you've checked the requirements, please try the following:

  1. Sync your Fitbit device with the Fitbit app
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  4. Make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-date
  5. Reboot your mobile device.
  6. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  7. Login using your account credentials.

Hope that does the trick.

I can't add anything new. I can't comment on photos. Before it worked. Can't react to photos either. It just disappears.

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot this issue before reaching out. @Rich_Laue Thanks for trying to help! 

It seems that you're referring to the Community Tab in the Fitbit app and not the Community Forums, aren't you? So please make sure you're following the steps provided in this help article in order to do the actions you want to do in the Community Tab. 

On a side note, please bear in mind that you can only mention your friends on your posts. When you comment on a public post, you can mention other community members who commented on the same post. To receive notifications about a post, you must be the original poster or leave a comment.

To mention a friend or other community member in a post or comment:

  1. At the bottom of a post, tap Comment.
  2. Type your comment. To mention someone, type the @ symbol or their name.
  3. Choose the person you want to mention.
  4. Tap Send.

Note the following about mentioning friends in a post or comment:

 

  • You're limited to 5 mentions per post or comment
  • You can't mention anyone who blocked you
  • You can't mention yourself

Update: Exactly! It is the mobile application that does not work.

 

i have also tried adding new post with photos but they disappear.

 

I can write a comment in the forums in the app but they also disappear. 

 

 

Watch my link, i post photos with text but the photos just dissapears

Can't comment on the photos like everybody else.

Thank you!

 

Syncing the Fitbit device helped me again. I did not use the Fitbit device, that was the thing. I used the "Mobile tracker" before so i had to buy a old Fitbit Alta Hr and when i synced it - everything started to work again.

 

So having a Fitbit Device is a BIG vital thing of course. I thought it was OK using ONLY the mobile tracker which is wrong.
