Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling and recommend confirming if your phone is compatible with the Fitbit app at fitbit.com/devices. For more information on how to set up and sync your device, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
By the way, I've moved your post to the Android App board so we can keep our forums organized.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Reker.
Thank you for joining the thread and sharing your concern. I would like to advise that in order to use your Fitbit device, you need to connect it to your Fitbit account with a phone, tablet, or computer. The latest Fitbit devices require an iPhone or Android phone. To verify that your phone is compatible with the Fitbit app, visit fitbit.com/devices. If your phone or tablet isn’t compatible, you can set up some Fitbit devices on a Mac or Windows 8.1 computer with a program called Fitbit Connect. For more information, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
Hope this helps.
