I was desperate to get a Fitbit and finally got bought one for my birthday....now I wish I hadn't bothered as I can't even get started !!!!!!!!!!

On my comp I couldn't get past the " insert dongle screen ". Yes I am on an old version of Windows so gave up there and thought I'd set it all up on my Samsung phone. The screens were sending me in circles so I lost my temper. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and stopped all the stupid pop ups. But my bluetooth can't even locate my fitbit and the wrist strap itself just has a pic of the logo and scrolling " www.fitbit.com/ setup"

 

YES I am middle aged and pretty much technophobic but I think listening to " I know a song that will get on your nerves " for 24 hours solid would be less frustrating than this 😞

Hi @Jayneslilgirl. So sorry you're having such a frustrating time. No, you don't need the dongle if you are going to sync your Fitbit to your Samsung. I would strongly suggest you contact Support. They will be happy to walk you thru the process.
