Can't get the moto g4 to find blaze

I'm sure I'm being stupid but please help. Just purchased a blaze, turned on Bluetooth but the phone can't find the fitbit. What do I do???

This may be a problem. The Moto G4 is not on the list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices

 

Having said that I have the G4 Play and although that's not on the list either, mine seems to work ok.

 

Hopefully someone with a standard G4 will be able to confirm either way if it should work or not.
