Can't migrate to Google because I have a child account

I am our Family Manager (parent), and I'd like to migrate my Fitbit account to Google (I signed up with my Gmail address) but I can't, because my child's account is in the way. However, my child is not over 13, so I don't know why Fitbit is telling me they need a Gmail address. How can I bypass this part of the "switch to Google" setting?
