I have a Versa and received a replacement phone. My phone was paired to my previous phone but now I can't pair it with my new phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. My phone that was paired to my Versa previously is the same model phone. I have shut off the Bluetooth, restarted my phone, restarted my Versa, Uninstalled and reinstalled the FitBit app. I'm not sure what else to do.

If your old phone is still around, and turned on. You need to remove the tracker from its Bluetooth. Do not remove from Fitbit app.
You say that it won't pair to new phone, yes we know that the user should not be able to pair a tracker using the phones Bluetooth.
You want to load the Fitbit app onto the new phone, log into your Fitbit account, accept any and all permissions requested.
The app should then sync the tracker and if needed ask for permission to pair the tracker to the phone.
Make sure the tracker is not connected/paired to the phones Bluetooth.
May I ask what is not happening? The tracker dies not need to be paired to the phone for a sync to happen.

What error do you see @Chelsea1013 and at what step of the setup process does the failure occur?
See more tips on setup issues.
I would also look at sync amd android tips.

The biggest complaint I find on the S20 is with notifications, not with setting up or syncing.
I'll ask the above questions again.

My Versa seems to sync with my app on my S20 but it won't pair, so I can't view text messages and phone calls.
How long will it take for fitbit to get this together?

If you are referring to pair as in opening the Bluetooth settings and manually pairing a tracker to the phone. On android you should get a message of, pair rejected by tracker.
The easiest thing, if on amdroid, to try would be logging out/in. When logging in the app should request permission to pair the tracker. You will want to accept this.
It is generally helpful to include any error messages

Yes we know the scan may or may not see your tracker, this is normal. Any atempt to pair this way will be rejected.
The Fitbit app does the pairing.
Did logging out/in fix this?
Through the Fitbit app can you do a test notification?
If not, then we need to setup notification and check the phone setting.

Hi Rich, Was wondering if you could help me.. i have a Samsung Note 20 and a fitbit versa 2. My old phone which my fitbit was connected to is broken can't turn on. But with this phone, it can't even find the versa 2. doesn't come up with anything. When opening the app I accepted the tracker and have uninstalled, reinstalled the app and restarted the phone. I've turned Bluetooth on and off. Still can't find it Any tips ? Thank you 😊

Thanks for the details provided and for the troubleshooting performed. I recommend you to perform the rest of troubleshooting steps listed on this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?. Also make sure that your phone is updated to the latest Android version.

Hi @Chantal2, please tag me, instead of hopping I may see your post.
Is your tracker still connected to your fitbit account? If so then follow the link @BraulioFitbit posted. You do not have to search for your tracker.
You never want to remove the tracker from your fitbit app, especially when changing phones.
The truth is, a user will never be able to search for a tracker. This search is managed by the fitbit app.
If the tracker has been removed from your fitbit app and fitbit account, then you will need to setup the tracker through the fitbit app.
