Can't see notification sender on my Inspire HR - Samsung Galaxy S7

I am having issues getting my messages to display on my inspire hr. I get the alert, but cannot get it display the sender or first part of the message. Help?

Thanks for sharing the issues that you're having with your Fitbit Inspire notifications. This is not an expected behavior, but you can check on phone the next information: Settings > Notifications > Preview Messages > Turn on. 

You can also try these steps: 

• Go into your phone's settings
• Select "Apps"
• Select the Fitbit App
• Find "Permissions" 
• Enable your Contacts (toggle over to the right)

hello. My wife is having the same problem, youre indications did not work, notifications works only 1 time when i restart the Phone, 1 sms, that`s it, everything in Phone and on fitbit app is on, help me please
