Can't set up Charge 2 on Pixel 2 from "Add a device" screen in app

I was having syncing issues with my charge 2 so I unpaired it to start over. I now either can't find my charge 2 from the "add a device" menu in the app, or it finds it but can't connect. I got the fitbit about a month ago and it worked fine until I accidentally let the battery drain. I can't factory reset because the instructions call for "removing the charging cable while holding down but button, which I'm unable to do with my sausage fingers.

Hi there @punintended, nice to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! In this case we need to address two issues, one would be paring your tracker back to your account and the other would be to address the syncing issues.

If you are still unable to pair your tracker try the following steps:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Try setting up your device again.
  3. Turn your Fitbit device off and back on which is a restart. However I would like to share with you this post for the correct instructions, since is not required to remove the tracker from the charging cable in order to proceed with a restart: How to restart your Charge 2?
  4. Try setting up your device again.
  5. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone (turn it off and then back on).
  6. Try setting up your device again.
  7. If you can't set up after the reboot, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.

Hope this helps and see you later.

Not sure which of the two fixed it, but I rebooted my phone and reinstalled the app and it's working again.
