Hi @MikeGeorge has your tracker been linked (setup) to your Fitbit account? We can not link a tracker tithe phone.

If the tracker is not setup to your Fitbit account. At what step of the setup (add devivr) does the failure occur? Any error messages?

Hi there @MikeGeorge, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot this issue before reaching out. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services (as it seems that your chat got disconnected).

Before anything else, I'd like you to make sure that the mobile phone you're using is included here Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

Moving on to the troubleshooting steps, please try the following:

In addition to the steps you've tried, please do the following:

1. Remove your Charge 3 from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings.

2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.

3. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.

4. Set up your Charge 3.

5. If there is no connection, restart your Charge 3.

On a side note, please note if you have MobileTrack now linked to your Fitbit account you'll need to remove it in order to set up your Fitbit device.

In addition to a Fitbit watch or tracker, you can use MobileTrack to track your activity if you have an iPhone or Windows 10 phone. However, if you use an Android phone you can't use MobileTrack in addition to a Fitbit device. For more information about MobileTrack, see How do I use Fitbit MobileTrack?

Let me know how it goes.
