Can't set up/register Alta HR to Samsung S4 nor Windows 8.1 devices

Hello, it's been 4 long hours since I started trying to set up my new Alta HR. Hope someone can help me! 😞

Problems I am having:

- I cannot finish the set up process using Android. I get stuck in the "Not working" page. The device's bluetooth detects and pairs with the fitbit, but the app doesn't.

- I cannot finish the set up process using windows 8.1. The set up steps tell me to plug in a dongle to my tablet. The device's bluetooth detects and pairs with the fitbit, but the app doesn't.

My devices and settings:

- 2 Fitbits Alta HR (US) from different retailers

- 1st device: Samsung S4 (EU) running Android 5.0.1 + Fitbit app version 2.63

- 2nd device: Cintiq Wacom (EU) running windows 8.1 + Fitbit connect app

Things I've tried already:

- Restarting bluetooth for Samsung S4

- Restarting bluetooth for Cintiq

- Restarting the fitbit by pressing the charger button 3 times

- Uninstalling and reinstalling Fitbit and Fitbit Connect

- Customer Services (which basically told me to restart my bluetooth and my fitbit a few times).

Does it make sense to assume that I can't register these fitbits because they are from the US and my devices originally from the UK? Could do 2 products from different retailers have the same problem?

I just tried setting up my Alta HR with an American iPad and it worked! Indeed, I wasn't able to register an American fitbit in 2 British devices! That is rather interesting!!
