Can't setup Fitbit with LG G6

Everything worked fine untill the firmware update a few days ago. It wouldn't sync anymore unless I force stopped the app and turned off/on the bluetooth and it would sync but not today. I uninstalled/installed the app and now it won't pair up to my LG6, it finds the device ok but won't connect. My phone pairs up with my other bluetooth devices just fine.... What to do....

That meet the minimum requirements for bluetooth and Android? My older phone doesn't, so it often has problems syncing.
