I have 2 fitbits a chagec5 and a charge 6. The 6 is on a Google account and the 5 is on my non Google comcast account. I am now getting the emails warning me to transition the charge 5 comcast account to a Google account .  Can the charge  5 and charge 6 share a Google account

Hi there, @Locksmith.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Fitbit. I wanted to let you know that it's not possible to connect your Charge 5 and Charge 6 to a single Fitbit account. The reason for this is that the Fitbit app doesn't support the connection of multiple devices that share a similar software.

To keep your Charge 5 connected, I suggest creating a separate Google account for it. Please keep in mind that you can complete this process by February 2, 2026. You can find more information in this help article.

Hello @Locksmith

As the Moderator mentioned, you can have only 1 device attached to your Google Fitbit account at a time.

To use both Charges on the same Google account, you would have to replace the Charge 6 with the Charge 5 in your Fitbit app. It's easy enough to do in the app and I've seen other users switch between 2 devices on their Fitbit app.
