Hi,
I am a new owner of a Pixel Watch which is connected to my Pixel 6 Pro. I can see the general connection status in the Pixel Watch app. I am having terrible problems connecting my watch or its Fitbit app to the phone's Fitbit app. I am stuck at the screen telling my the connection is build up but it never finishes. After a long while I get the message that it failed and I can retry the process.
1) The phone's bluetooth is switched on.
2) The watch is shown as connected.
3) I am looged into the phone's Fitbit app.
4) The watch's app is just installed, therefore I assume it is up to date.
5) The watch's OS has been updated yesterday.
6) The phone's Fitbit app may access the location.
What am I missing?

On the fitbit end, are you using the fitbit app to setup.
As for the pixel side, I have no experience but generally with BTLE everything is done through an app.

While it seems that a definitive solution hasn't been provided by the developers yet, there is a potential workaround that has been found by some users. This involves updating the Fitbit app on your watch. Here's how to do it:
1.Open the Google Play Store on your watch.
2.Scroll down and click "manage apps."
3.Find the Fitbit app and check for updates.
If this doesn't work, you might want to consider waiting for a bit as developers are likely working on a fix for this issue. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this issue gets resolved soon!
