Cannot log in with my Google Account

New FB user here. I downloaded the FB app, tried to register using my gmail account I have with my Android phone.
Open FB app > sign in with Google > sign in > enter my pin to unlock my phone > Sign in with your Google Account, enter my gmail address, Next > get error saying "This account already exists on your device".

Can't go any further. About to send this back to the store.

Anyone else have this problem

@IT_Walker Welcome to the forums. I will gladly help you log in with your Google Account. Thanks for the explanation. 

I have gotten that error message in the Google services, even outside Fitbit, and that happens when the service is trying to add an account and this has been linked to the Android device already. I just tried with my Android device and after I tap on "Sign in with Google" I get a pop up that requires me to select which account I want to add from the ones already linked to the Android device. In your case it is requesting a PIN and then asking you again to sign in with your Google account. Would you be so kind to make a screenshot of the step after you tap on "Sign in with Google"? Please then uninstall the Fitbit app and try again to install and sign in. Thanks in advance.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times already but I will try again.

After I hit sign in with Google it says checking info, type my PIN, checking info, and then goes for me to type in my Gmail address.

So I created a Gmail account just for the FB, the account is then removed from my phone i then go to login at FB or Google login, I type my creds in and password and it adds it back to my phone and I get the error message again!!!

I called customer support and they had me do all the above but nothing changed. Restarted my phone, reinstalled the FB app but nothing doing. When I called back customer support announced that its a Google issue since they are taking over FB and a software fix should be coming "soon". If you are looking for a solution there is currently none. If and when the software solution happens I will update this. Farewell and Godspeed.

Fitbit is now working. I was about to pack it and send it back but thought I'd try one last time last night and I was able to log into my FB app. I didn't do anything different I am guessing they got the app updated *shrugs* Sorry there was not a solution for anyone else who is going through what I went through.
