My son received a Fitbit for Christmas but the app won’t let him log in (with Google account). It tries then we get an error message informing us something has gone wrong and to try again.
I’ve tried all the online suggestions I have found (deleting app, re-starting phone, updating phone etc) but nothing has worked.
Has anyone encountered this before and found a solution?! Thanks!

Hello @pradankho
By any chance, is your son a supervised account in your Family Link? If so, "adult" Fitbit devices are not compatible with supervised accounts. The only Fitbit devices compatible with supervised accounts are the Ace series.

My son is having the same problem with his Fitbit. He has a Gabb phone which doesn't allow the use of internet like Google, but we supposedly can use the Fitbit app. We downloaded it, but cannot create a Fitbit account that isn't tied to Google (which we cannot access on his phone). Any ideas of a workaround so that we can get his phone paired with his device? We have called the phone support and the Fitbit support, and talked to people who did not seem to understand the problem well enough to help. Any of you smart enough to help us?

Helo @Khatala! Welcome to our community forums!
Thank you for sharing the details about your son's phone. I'll do my best to help you with this situation.
Because these types of phones don't have access to internet browsers or social media platforms, and the Fitbit app requires constant internet access to configure the watch and sync data, completing the device installation and therefore using it wouldn't be feasible.
An alternative would be to create your child's Fitbit account on another device, such as a tablet, iPad, or another phone.
Additionally, I would like to know the Fitbit model you want to add to the account and your country of residence. This will allow me to provide you with the appropriate assistance.

@Khatala I did an internet search with this phrase: Get Fitbit app on Gabb phone. It says that the parent must use the Gabb App Management to enable access for their child. I hope you can get these same results with your own search.
