Cannot navigate past app home screen

Starting this morning around 11am, I can’t navigate away from phone app main page.  Tapping on the + to add exercise or water, or tapping on any metric to get past stats does not work .

Have you tried going into the phone settings and stopping the Fitbit app. It is not enough to simply swipe off of the screen.
