I bought a charge 5 and moved to the google account. I want to change the layout of the Home Screen on my phone by rearranging the location of the various items, steps, distance etc. How do I do it?

Hello @Kravman2

It does take a bit to understand how to make changes in the new app.

To make changes to the "Focus" section:

  • Tap on the pencil icon in the upper right (below your picture/icon).
  • On the Customize Today, swipe left to see all the options: Get More Active, Sleep better, Manage weight, Manage Stress, Improve heart health, and Custom preset. Other than the Custom preset, each of the focus options have specific metrics that you will see on the Today page.
  • If you choose the Custom preset, tap on the pencil icon on the left side to select which 4 metrics you want to see on your Today page.
  • Swipe up and use the toggle to turn on/off the metrics you want to see on your Today page in each section.
  • You can also rearrange the order of the sections by using the small up & down arrows on the right side. At this time, it is not possible to re-arrange the tiles in each section.
  • When you have completed setting up your Today page, tap on Save in the upper right

You should now see the metrics on your Today page the way & order you selected them. Like the old version, when you tap on a metric in the Focus section, it will open to the corresponding page as does tapping on each metric below the Focus section.

Since you have specific stats that you prefer to track, the Custom preset may be the best choice for you.

Excellent thanks for that. The layout on my Samsung Galaxy phone is slightly different from what your instructions say but close enough for me to work out what to do. Once again, help much appreciated.

@Kravman2 Thanks for your reply. I am glad the instructions above helped you. The thread I linked in my post above does show the interface for a Samsung device. However, they must vary on each model, right? Thanks for taking the time to let us know. Have a nice day!

I’ve double checked the instructions against my phone and they are correct. I must have misread slightly. Sorry for the confusion
