Changed Account Password, Lost All Data

I received an email that my account was locked due to suspicious activity and was required to change my password.  Upon completion,...Surprise! All of my weight data from August 2018 until this week is now missing.  How do I get that information back?

Hi, @TrekMedic! Are you sure that was a legitimate message from Fitbit? I would double check your Fitbit account by going directly, to Fitbit.com. I would also suggest changing your password again and contacting Fitbit Support directly.

Yes, this was directly from my phone app.  Additionally, I was made aware via my credit report that my email was showing up on the dark web, so the information FitBit had originally provided about it seemed accurate.

I should have originally added: ONLY my weight data has been lost since I changed my password.  Everything else, included my up-to-date steps, etc, are still intact.

Okay, glad to hear it! In that case, I would suggest trying to clear your app's cache and data, which will require you to log back in afterward. That might help got your data back. You can also check if the data still is associated with the account by logging into the web dashboard. I've found that sometimes with my account the data is still there but doesn't always load well in the app.

I can try on the app, but honestly, I can't explain it better, but it looks more like I hadn't updated anything on the FitBit web side and that's what synced back to my phone!
