Charge 2 Problems syncing with a Google Pixel 3a

Hi,

I've had my Charge 2 for over 2 years and never had any problems connecting with my old phone (Samsung Galaxy S7).  Got a Google Pixel 3a in September and initially it seemed fine, but when I started a run, after a while I looked down and it had completely ended the workout and was back at the homescreen.  I always open the app fully and make sure everything is connected before setting off.  Have restarted phone and tracker but still keeps doing it?  Had to restart the logging of my workout three times last night before it stuck? I also use bluetooth headphones - could it be to do with that?  Never had a problem before though.

Whilst I doubt my phone is listed on the compatible devices (due to age of handset and tracker), surely it's as up to date as it can be.  I always do relevant updates etc, so am finding it really frustrating.  Sometimes it won't even 'find' the tracker, and just consistently says it's searching for it 😞

Sorry for the long winded explanation, I just really would like to fix this rather than have to change my tracker.

Hi @Amzby, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

Thanks for the information that was shared in your post and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? This usually occurs when you're performing an exercise or randomly? It occurs with a specific activity or with all of them?

Regarding syncing, if you haven't already done so I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Looking forward to your reply.
