Charge 2 (PurePulse)

I lost my Fitbit Alta and I am looking into buying the Charge 2. Here is my question. I notice that the Charge 2 has the "PurePulse" capabilities which my Fitbit Alta did not have. Will the "PurePulse" feature work with my Samsung Note 5?  Online I looked under the section called " Look up your device check compatibility" and I did not see the "PurePulse" feature on that list. So does that mean I will not get that feature because I have a Note 5 or is it not listed just in that section even though it is included with the device. I am sorta confused. I hope this make sense?

I just took a look at the capabilities tool and don't see heart rate listed for any devices. I wonder why that is.  I suggest posting in the Charge 2 board, asking if anyone has experience using it with Samsung Note 5. Or else call support and ask.
