Hi. I've read and read similar type issues and used the trouble shooting tips etc to no avail.
Just set up my Charge 2 that I got at Christmas (my flex died last night). It appears to have synched successfully to my Samsung Galaxy S3. Text messaging "sender and message" has been chosen in the notifications. I DO get the notifications for text messages, but it's "new message" showing up for a few seconds. I am unable to see the senders name or any of the first 40 characters as I've read I should be getting. After reading many similar issues (usually someone not getting any notifications at all) I'm kind of running out of things to try. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Its probably an issue with your phone sms app. On my galaxy s4 I had to choose MESSAGES, push the low left button below the screen, push SETTINGS, then choose NOTIFICATIONS and turn on PREVIEW MESSAGE. Now my messages shows me who sent it and the content. That means that my phone has to be able to show the message on top of the screen when I receive an sms. Hope this solves the problem

Hello @turn2stone, good to see you one more time! I'm wondering what type of troubleshooting have tried so far? I'm curious to know in order to not recommend the same steps. I'm not sure if you have tried this but in case you haven't, please give it a shot to the following suggestions of this post.
Hope this helps. Catch ya later!

Ok. Let's throw this back onto not solved. After 3 days of success this frustrating little wrist machine has gone from getting the notification and texts to getting nothing. All Bluetooth and text notifications are correct or unchanged from when things were working properly. I've unpaired paired the charge 2 but so far nothing is working.
