Hello,
I am having great issues trying to setup my replacement Charge 2.
I begin the setup process and get to the stage where I enter the four digit code, but after that there is no connection.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled my app several times, I have restarted my phone and Fitbit several times, I have had bluetooth on and off, there are no other bluetooth devices nearby, there is nothing blocking the bluetooth connection on my phone. I have also tried doing the setup on a friend's phone to no avail.
As you can imagine it is becoming rather frustrating that I can't setup. When on the bluetooth settings on my phone I can see that the charge 2 is available, I just can't ever get past the 4 digit code.
Help!

I got my replacement FitBit Charge 2 after my first broke after 18 months. I have now spent hours trying to set this up. Things I have tried:
1) Mobile Phone (Samsung S7)
1.1.Run set up system
1.2. Clear Bluetooth Cache -> run set up
1.3. Clear data and re-instal app -> run set up
1.3 Clear cache -> Switch phone off -> run set up
1.4 Forget device -> Clear cache -> Switch phone off -> run set up
2) Laptop (Mac)
1.1 run set up
1.2. re-instal app -> run set up
There is clearly a patch required to make the issues for the S7 and Charge 2 sync. So fustrating and can read tonnes of forums about this problem. Not sure if the issue is with other FitBits too. Any more ideas?
Only idea is to download the app onto a second phone, instal and sync then try and find it on my S7. Got a feeling this is going to be an on-going problem. Not very happy.
