If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Charge 2 with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
Keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy A9 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it.

Here at Fitbit we are always working and testing different mobile devices that are available in the market to ensure that they are compatible with our products and services, as a reference, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series were added to our compatibility list. That said, my best advice for you is to check our list of compatible devices periodically for any update about the Samsung Galaxy A9 because there's a chance that such series get added.
