Charge 2 not notifying messages and calls on Samsung A7 2018

For some reason, my charge 2 was working fine last month but because of the new update it wont notify any calls or messages on the watch but it is syncing on the app. All the necessary troubleshooting was done as well but it's still not working. Hope you will get it fixed, it's a waste of money if we can't use all the features fully be it from our cellphones and watch.

A common cause of this is where the Charge 2 is accidentally put into "do not disturb" mode. This is turned on / off by pressing and holding the button on the Charge 2. Could this be the problem here?
