Ok so I see this has been an ongoing issue from way back last year. The Charge 2 won't sync with the Honor 6x.
First of all, am I able to return my fitbit? I have had it only one day and it's absolutely useless to me if incompatible with my phone. I do not have the luxury of another, compatible device.
I finally got it to sync once, after hours of trying, but it failed to download the initial update. I took it to use on my son's laptop where it synced easily and downloaded the update. Back on my phone, it won't sync at all.
I would like to add, I had a Charge hr, which recently broke, hence buying this new Charge 2 and after some initial difficulty in pairing and syncing, it was absolutely fine and worked every time. So how in earth, can a supposedly updated device, not work at all?
I have read previous posts on this just now and have seen customers being told to 'be patient', that the tech people are working on updates and compatibility. Are they? Because some of those posts are over a year old and still, we are having this issue.
I loved my old fitbit and am absolutely gutted that this one is no good to me, I have a very active lifestyle and used to wear it constantly. I love the app and use it every day, logging my food and water intake, watching my calories. Very very disappointed in fitbit. Hopefully I can return this and find another brand of fitness tracker that is compatible with my phone.

Unfortunately I returned the Charge 2 and bought a Garmin Vivosmart hr+, which syncs fine. Garmin had the same issues but the difference being, they rectified it and issued an update to their app for Huawei customers.
I am sad to see the Charge go as I loved my old Charge hr and loved the potential of the Charge 2 but it was absolutely pointless having a device that was incompatible with my phone. It seems fitbit don't care enough about the small portion of users with incompatible Huawei phones.

Hi @Kelmaraner. Sorry to hear about your issues. Have you tried to contact Support? They may have some tips or work arounds. But to answer your question of returning the Fitbit, check with the store/Website from which you purchased it. Since you’ve only had it one day, I imagine they will take it back.
Sad to see you go.

Yes I have tried everything with support. I'm gutted, I used my old charge hr every day, loved it, love the app, I track everything on there. I am annoyed that an older version of the Charge works ok and will sync fine on an old moto e, but not one of the best phones now on the market.
Further investigation leads me to believe an update for the 6x is imminent and may fix some of these issues. But then again, it may not as the newer Huawei phones are still not listed in your 'compatible devices' list. As this issue has been apparent for two years and no fix from Fitbit's side as of yet, I'm not holding my breath for them to sort the issue.
On the other hand, the tech team at Garmin seem to have placed more importance on the issue and have released updates for the various Huawei phones affected with their fitness trackers, to counteract these bluetooth issues. So a Vivosmart hr may be a good alternative to the Charge 2 although I've read that the usability of their app is not as good.
Or to buy a cheap phone purely to sync my fitbit.
First world problems at their finest but when I spend over £100 each on a brand new spec, modern, up to date phone and tracker I expect them to work with one another.
I did also find out that Huawei make their own fitness tracker, so wondering if they have purposely made it difficult to connect to other brands.

My wife has a 6x and recently purchased a Fitbit Charge 2. The app synced with the Fitbit fine for the first week, now it is unable to find the tracker. The tracker does work with my Honor 8 as well as her computer. Not sure what changed or why the 6x cannot find the tracker all of a sudden. Is it a problem with the Bluetooth on the 6x? I looked at every setting possible and don't see any culprits. Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't think fitbit are concerned about any android phones judging by reports from owners of Huawei, Samsung, LG, moto etc. I dread every update, it's like Russian roulette, waiting for the one that finally kills your fitbits ability to function as it should .
