Charge 2 will not sync

My Charge 2 will not sync to my S9.

Keep in mind that in order to have a successful connection between your tracker and phone, it needs to be compatible. Have you checked if your phone is compatible? If you haven't, check the list here.

 

When a phone isn't compatible, it doesn't mean that it won't work with your tracker but you might experience some connectivity issues. You can always try the instructions provide in the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync? but I don't guarantee it will work 100%.

Does this mean that those of us with newer Samsung phones are flat out of luck, or is a software upgrade in the works?

I got mine to sync. You need put your Fitbit on charge. Once on charge push in the button for 4 seconds and one the fitbit icon appears take off charge and then it syncs.
