Restarted blutooth on phone, rebooted Fitbit, turned off bluetooth on other devices, rebooted Charge 3, then phone lost connection with Charge 3.
Then I tried to connect it as a NEW Charge 3, but while it provided new connect codes, none of them worked to connect the phone.
While the watch still works, I will continue to use it to count steps, but customer service, info and firmware update quality provided to users seems so poor, this will likely be my last Fitbit.

Thanks for sharing all of the steps that you have tried to get your Fitbit to work again.
The first thing I'd recommend is that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. While you might have tried some of the steps listed in that article, please try going through all of them in the order that shows in there.

Thanks! Got some good help from a rep. by phone. Cleared user data under settings on the Fitbit under settings. That did it! Feel better about the Co. now.

I find it interesting that I have so much trouble with my Charge 3 syncing. My phone sees it, but probably half the time, won't sync. BUT, I get messages on my phone about either almost as a daily step goal or weekly exercise goal
