New Charge 3 on kindle fire will not set up.  Have turned off/on Bluetooth, Fire itself and also the fully-charged tracker.   Simply will not progress the set-up.

It's not that the Charge 3 won't sync. I can't even get it to that stage. The setup process simply doesn't happen. when I try to set up the Charge 3, the App just returns to my Account page.

Welcome to the Forums @Cfit33.

Thanks for sharing those steps that you have tried to get it to sync.

This might be happening because Kindle Fire devices are not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @Cfit33.

Thanks for your reply and for that clarification on what is going on.

This definitely seems to be related to the fact that the device is not a supported device. If you have access to another device you could run the set up there. Click here to find instructions on how to do it.
