Charge 3 not syncing

I'm not alone.   I know this.  However,  I found it absolutely ridiculous that I can't contact customer service right now because I don't use Twitter.  I cannot sync my brand new charge 3.  Absolutely useless and I should've listened to my gut instinct and switched over to Garmin.  They protect their customers from theft and are easy to communicate with.  Just sayin.  So sad to have to make this switch.  I'm out $ for my new fitbit but at least I'll have a reliable product and a company that protects their customers

I'd like to help you figure out what is going on and get your Charge 3 to sync correctly.

 

In this case I'd like to recommend that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article.That should definitely help in getting it all to work again.

 

In the meantime I'd like to ask what phone is it that you are using to sync your Charge 3.

Thank you!

I've repeatedly tried all steps in that article and as others have
mentioned on other posts. I've restarted both my fitbit and my phone.
Deleted the app and reinstalled, etc.. my fitbit is on and charged. My
phone is charged. Bluetooth is on and shows my charge 3 as being a paired
device. I have a Galaxy S8 plus. Thank you!

I just got the charge 3 and had the same issue with my android phone.  I had to disconnect all other devices synch to my phone in order to get the synch to work.

I have bee been trying now to synch to my Amazon fire with no luck.  I could do it with the charge 2 fitbit.  Any ideas

I've done that tho but it's just not working.

You can call support at 877 -624-4997 during normal hours.  I had to call them when I had an issue setting up the fitbit.  You can only set it up on a smartphone.

I did love my charge 2 but I wanted something waterproof.

I'd like to take a closer look at your situation. What phone is it that you are using at the time? Is this happening with regular syncing or while trying to set up the Charge 3?
